This study aimed at unveiling the impact of the "Ibadi" thought on the Omani poetry in the 13 th and 14 th centuries of the Hijra in order to identify the starting points of Omani poet and the extent of his linkage with the Omani environment and its intellectual characteristic.

To do this، the researcher tried to give an idea about this thought to highlight the extent of its effect on the poet's output and style.

This study is based in principle on knowing the features of this thought and its entire characteristics in order to reveal its impact on the Omani poetry in particular، without disregarding its artistic and stylish side.

The researcher focused on the most important intellectual predicaments which represent the identity of the "Ibadi” thought in a pretext to perceive their historic depth due to their outstanding effects on the creativity of creators.

The study shed light on the origin of the "Ibadi" thought and its historic roots and intellectual foundations as well as the effect of that on the poetry of the poets of such period of time.
