Liability of consultant engineer in

Omani laws

The main aims of this research to is to study the rooting of the Liability of consultant engineer in Omani laws in accordance with Islamic law (Sharia).

I have obtained the law items which related to the consultant engineer from the Omani laws، I have explained them with help of laws explanation books available in the libraries، the study them Islamic law (sharia) to find out the Islamic roots of these items.

The main results of the study:

1. The item no (22) in the Omani engineering consultants' offices organization law، and items no (634، 635، 636، 637) in the Omani civil transactions law، have a rooting in Islamic laws (sharia)، and they are complying with sharia.

2. The item no (22) in the Omani engineering consultants' offices organization law، have a rooting in Islamic laws (sharia)، and they are complying with sharia.

3. The Liability of the consultant engineer and the contractor in the items no (22) in the Omani engineering consultants' offices organization law and items no (634، 635، 636، 637) in the Omani civil transactions law، should equally between them if both of them causes otherwise not.

4. the financial banishments of the consultant engineer is not agreed by all jurists (Islamic scientists)، but it is the better for the community.
