The following notification dated ne aan 2002 Lesued by the Minister for External Affairs، Muscat Government، is published for the information of British subjects:m

"It is hereby notified for the inform? tion of the publio that export of arms of all kinds (whether used or unused) with the exception of aras which are not fire arms، is prohibited to outside countries including Gwadar

2.Whoever deals in arme for export to the countries mentioned and the middlemen in such trade will be severely punished and the arms confiscated.

3.Any vessel carrying arOS other thi arms which are not fire arms، without a permit from the Government to which it belongs، the owner of such a vessal will be fined and the arma confiscated. 4.All travellers going out of this country and possessing anaa should carry a permit from their respective Governments This includes owners of vessels who carry arma in their vessels for defence. 8.All persons and the Nakhudas of vossols failing to produce a permit to the Inspector will be punished.

6.This notification refera to all percor and to all beatn of all kinds and since.
