The research Abstract

As to Chapter Six، it was entitled: The educational and pedagogical reformation. We divide it into five sections. In Section One we dealt with the philosophy of the educational and pedagogical reformation، in Section Two with the primary education and its schools، in Section Three with secondary education represented in El-Hayet Institute، in which we traced back its path and defined its programs and systems، in Section Four with women education in which we showed the efforts of the reformation movement in its promotion، and we dealt in Section Five with the scientific delegation to abroad which was founded by the reformation movement and organized as well as supervised by it.

As to the conclusion، we exposed in it the most important results of the research and we conclude it by a prospective vision of the future of the Ibadits of Algeria.

The sources and references of the research:

The nature of the research makes that the sources are many and different ranging from historical studies، to intellectual and Islamic ones.

Historical sources present scientific materials which are needed in tracing back the events and happenings that are employed in understanding the reformation renaissance. These are represented in the sources of the history of the Ibadits of Algeria، during their modern and contemporary history، during the Ottoman reign and during French occupation. They are represented also in the sources of the history of Algeria during the same era.

As to the intellectual sources، they are those which present the materials around the Islamic thought، Islamic movements and around the concepts of 'renaissance' and 'reformation'، the bases and mechanisms of this thought and its effect on societies as well as the effects of the figures of this thought and their ideas and works. In this respect، we find the sources and references which treat the reformation movement in the Ibadits of Algeria and its efforts in one side among others، that has been written by the figures or students of that movement، or what has been written by the researches interested in it، and these are represented in the books، articles، newspapers، documents or university dissertations.
