Abstract

The contemporary world is witnessing a growing crisis of values، where morals and refined traditions are in decline، particularly among younger generations. This makes the need to revive ethical awareness more urgent than ever. This paper addresses this challenge by examining the book The Spirit of Virtue: Morality among Omanis in Thought and Practice by Sultan bin Mubarak al- Shaibani، which presents a rich vision of fundamental values such as honesty، humility، responsibility، and respect، and how they are embodied in Omani society through religious teachings and daily traditions. The study employs a descriptive-analytical approach to highlight the ideas and practical models offered by the author، and to uncover the contemporary implications of the Omani experience in restoring the centrality of ethics. The findings emphasize that traditional moral wisdom serves as an effective guide in shaping the character of youth and directing them toward sound values in a rapidly changing world، making the Omani experience a model worthy of inspiration in the Arab and Islamic contexts.
