Abstract:

The Ministry of Education، as an educational institution، has contributed to the promotion of Omani values through curricula، cultural programs، religious، and the competitions. The Directorate-General for Curriculum Development has an active role in promoting values through the development of school curricula in accordance with modern developments and technical progress. The Department of Religious Culture in department of Islamic Curriculum Development has a role in providing Islamic cultural programs for school students، and its contribution to promoting Omani values among students. By reading the name of the section، the recipient thinks that it is concerned only with the promotion of religious values. But does the Department of Religious Culture play a role in promoting the moral values of students? This question will be answered by this study. The purpose of the study is to identify the role of the Department of Religious Culture in promoting moral values among students in the Sultanate of Oman school through the topics presented in the religious culture plans for the academic years 17 - Y. V to

YE/YY. The study followed the analytical-inductive approach by analyzing the topics of religious cultural plans and then reading the moral values contained therein.
