It seeks to highlight the various means by which good morals are instilled in the believing soul، and how blameworthy traits may be uprooted، while also clarifying the differences in degrees of a given moral quality in its manifestation or decline— whether innate، acquired through effort، governed by reason، or mandated by Sharia.

As the book primarily relies on transmitted reports، with limited engagement in critical debate or dialectic، this research adopts a descriptive inductive method، complemented by analytical inquiry، in order to trace textual references and the underlying sequence of ideas. It is anticipated that the study will reveal significant dimensions of ethical thought in the works of the Omani scholar al-Hamsa idi، and demonstrate the influence of the Islamic paradigm on moral attributes.
